What is it?
Aurora is a VST3/AU plugin for Windows and macOS designed to bring DJ-style coloured waveforms to your DAW. No longer do you have to suffer the endless loop of exporting and importing clips of your music – view your changes immediately without ever leaving your project.
Easily view the frequency balance of your composition and the interaction of instruments at a glance.
What ain’t it?
Aurora is inspired by DJ software such as Rekordbox, Traktor, and Serato, but it is not an exact 1:1 recreation of any one of them – and that’s a good thing!
Our testing showed that these programs do not always represent frequency balance consistently.* Aurora always presents colours with a consistent relationship to frequency balance, and gives you more control over how to represent it.
Real-estate is expensive.
So many plugins, so little space. It’s tough to find room for all your plugin windows, especially analyzers that you want to keep open at all times.
Once you’ve dialed in the settings you want, Aurora let’s you hide the controls and shrink the window down to take up as little space as possible while still giving you all the information you need.


One size does not fit all.
With Aurora, you control the colour. Lower the “Low” crossover point to visually isolate deep sub-bass, or raise it for genres with bass that’s softer or higher in frequency. Adjust the High crossover point to isolate vocals or cymbals.
Use the colour mixer to fine-tune how each frequency band impacts the final colour.
